Finance and Business Officer

Actual Salary Range: £19,862 - £21,717 p.a. inc. (Scale 5)

Hours: 32.5 hours per week (8.30-4pm), 39 weeks per annum

We are seeking to appoint a proactive, motivated and organised Finance and Business Officer to join our thriving Office team.

You will:

  • Provide specific support in relation to schools finance
  • Have strong communication and administrative skills
  • Have strong IT skills, preferably with experience of educational software packages (Scholarpack MIS system, RM finance, ParentPay)
  • Be approachable, professional and organised
  • Be an effective team member willing to undertake a range of duties, take responsibility for your own workload and work closely with the School Business Manager.
  • Be able to build effective relationships and motivate others to improve the school
  • Take the initiative and work both independently and part of a team
  • Have high standards and the capacity for further development
  • Competent in the maintenance of database packages and experience of reporting from database packages.
  • An understanding of the needs of children and young people especially those who are vulnerable.
