Working Pattern: Part time, term time only

Actual Salary Range: £19,375 - £19,668 p.a. inc. (Scale 3)

Hours: 30 hours x 39 weeks per annum

Starting: September 2024

We are looking to appoint Scale 3 Teaching Assistants to join our support staff team.  These roles will include a combination of support for children with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND), small group and intervention support and general classroom support.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be caring, enthusiastic and patient;
  • Show commitment and enthusiasm for working with all children;
  • Demonstrate good understanding of inclusive practice to enable children with SEND to access learning and make good progress;
  • Have excellent communication skills;
  • Be able to use initiative to adapt learning to the specific needs of the children;
  • Have experience of working with children with special needs;
  • Have experience of delivering high quality intervention;
  • Be a team player who relishes contributing as part of a larger collective;
  • Be flexible and adaptable to work across the primary age range and in collaboration with other members of staff.

Applicants should have achieved a level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or GCSE grade 4 (formally Grade C) in English and Mathematics.
