I am delighted to introduce myself, Zoya Ahmed, as one of the co-opted governors for George Spicer School. Having resided in Enfield for the past decade, I have witnessed the growth and evolution of our schools firsthand. With two of my three daughters currently attending a local school, I am deeply invested in the quality of education and the well-being of our students.

Professionally, I work in Market Access for Pfizer, where I have developed a strong background in healthcare and policy advocacy. My journey in this field has nurtured my passion for fostering equality and inclusion, particularly in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) subjects. Every child should be able to excel in these critical fields, regardless of their background or circumstances.

As a School Governor, I am committed to advocating for educational excellence, promoting diversity, and ensuring that every student in our community receives the support and opportunities they deserve. I am eager to collaborate with parents, teachers, and the broader community to positively impact our schools.
