…we’ve carried out a phishing awareness test to help our George Spicer community stay safe online and raise awareness of how cyber criminals can target schools and families.

This wasn’t a real attack, but it shows how easily one could happen.

• Check the sender’s email address carefully

• Be cautious of unexpected links or attachments

• Never share passwords or personal information by email

• Go directly to official websites rather than using links in emails

• If something doesn’t feel right, contact the sender directly using known contact details
