Teaching Assistants
Actual Salary Range: £17,780 - £18,072 p.a. inc. (Scale 3)
Hours: 30 hours x 39 weeks per annum
Starting: 1st November 2023

Starting after October half term 2023, we are looking to appoint Scale 3 Teaching Assistants to join our support staff team. These roles will include a combination of support for children with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND), small group and intervention support and general classroom support.
The ideal candidate will:

- Demonstrate good understanding of inclusive practice to enable children with SEND to access learning and make good progress.
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be able to use initiative to adapt learning to the specific needs of the children
- Have experience of working with children with special needs
- Have experience of delivering high quality intervention
- Be a team player who relishes contributing as part of a larger collective
- Be flexible and adaptable to work across the primary age range and in collaboration with other members of staff

Applicants should have achieved a level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or GCSE grade 4 (formally Grade C) in English and Mathematics.
