Friends of George Spicer / PTA

The Friends of George Spicer School (FOGS) is our Parent Teacher Association.  We are a registered charity acting on behalf, and in the interest, of all children and parents at the school.

Any parent or carer is welcome to join FOGS and volunteer their time, ideas, expertise and enthusiasm towards helping raise money for our children and the school.

As well as raising funds, our key objective is community spirit. We feel that it is important that our children learn from us parents how important our local community is, our events are well attended family days, which are enjoyed by all!

Other ways to help raise money for the school

Microscooters Scooters for schools

Help raise money for our school when you buy Micro or Maxi scooters or other scooter products.  Micro scooters will donate 10% of your purchase to the school – if only three parents/carers purchased a Maxi Micro Scooter then nearly £200 would be raised for the school!

Visit www.micro-scooters.co.uk and enter code 101993.

On the Go Kids
is a family discount card with a difference.

Please make sure you remember to specify that you are a George Spicer Primary School parent by writing the school name in the Company name section on the order form.

They have some big-name attractions offering discounts such as Diggerland (20% off), Royal Gunpowder Mills (2-4-1 entry), Paradise Wildlife Park (up to 20% off).

However, they also have lots of smaller businesses offering discounts too - ones that you would use more regularly like class providers, activities like pottery painting, and adventure golf, as well as lots of party providers offering great discounts too. New deals are being added all the time so check in regularly to see what's new.

For every full price family card of £15 that is purchased, On the Go Kids will donate £3 to the school, so not only will you, the parents, benefit by saving money you will also be helping fund activities and equipment for you child(ren) at school.  If 50 families sign up, it will raise £150 for the school.
