ICELAND TALKS ROAD SAFETY
On Thursday 26th March YR4,5 & 6 took part in a Road Safety session delivered by Iceland. The children got to see the Iceland Truck, and take part in various road safety exercises which was enjoyed by all staff and pupils who took part.
YR4 STRINGS PERFORMANCE
Thursday the 19th March saw some wonderful performances by the YR4 classes. 4TS and the String After School Group performed in the morning to parents and 4H and 4M performed in the afternoon. Everyone was brilliant and showed tremendous concentration and skill.
Monday 9th March Yr6 travelled to Forty Hall on a visit to learn how to write like a Jacobean, as part of their Spring Term topic. The children discovered the different ways that Jacobeans used to communicate, including using codes to prevent messages being read by the wrong people! They also took part in a recreation of pageant to celebrate Sir Nicholas Rainton's inauguration as London Mayor.
MOTHERS & DAUGHTERS EVENING
Tuesday 24th February brought together mothers and daughters from Yr5 for a fun filled evening. The night included bonding, dancing, cookie decorating, nail painting and maths problem solving activities. In total there was 110 attendees and the night was enjoyed by all. One of the key highlights was the letter writing activity where mums and daughters got to exchange heart warming gestures.
YR5 'OUT OF THIS WORLD' PERFORMANCE
Parent’s and families of all Yr5 classes enjoyed an outstanding performance by the children on Wednesday and Thursday night. The performance displayed their flair for drama and great musical skills which was a treat to watch.
